The Women's Board of the University of Chicago Cancer Research Foundation chose "VISIONNAIRE" as the theme of the 2013 Gala, honoring the visionary doctors and researchers tirelessly working to end cancer. The identity and event collateral is all inspired by visual reference to the technology as well as a play on the term "VISION".

The primary invitation cards for this piece were printed on a a clear acetate, each revealing a small portion of the event information. The first card depicts "UCCRF", representing the Cancer Research Foundation. The second, four and seven, representing the 47th year. And the third depicts the many pieces coming together to advance the cancer research program. When stacked, they came together to reveal the cohesive content.
